Our
goal at Green Hills Chiropractic is that we are dedicated to helping
others achieve maximum health. We offer an integrated approach utilizing
chiropractic, massage therapy, and rehabilitation to help people
attain their health care goals in a caring, courteous, environment.
Green
Hills Chiropractic and its physicians have prided themselves in
giving quality care to thousands over the last two decades. The
chiropractic physicians have extensive post-graduate training in
a wide variety of techniques. This enables us to treat newborns
to seniors. Although the majority of the practice is a referral
based family practice, the doctors also specialize in sports injuries,
care of extremities (shoulder, arm, hand, hip, knee and foot), accidents,
and emergencies. If your case is an emergency, every effort will
be made to work you in that day.
Complementing
our physicians is an excellent physiotherapy department. There are
three licensed massage therapist/chiropractic therapy assistants.
They are trained in many forms of myofascial work including traditional
swedish, neuromuscular therapy, lymphatic, shiatsu, and reiki. Directed
by the physicians they are trained to assist with physiotherapeutic
modalities, such as ultrasound and electric stimulation. The department
also gives specific exercises and rehabilitation protocols that
prevent re-injury and add flexibility. Applied with chiropractic
adjustments these therapies help effectively speed the recovery
process.
Our office provides a quality, cost-effective and non-surgical alternative to relieve pain associated with spinal conditions with the Decompression Traction System®. DTS® treatment is directed at relieving pressure on structures that may be a major source of pain including bulging and herniated discs, degenerative discs, facet syndrome and sciatica (referred pain) and headaches.
DTS® helps relieve pain through the decompression of lumbar and cervical discs and joints (that is unloading due to distraction and positioning). This cyclical, painless setting reduces pressure, promotes blood and fluid flow and improves healing naturally.
Clinical studies suggest decompression therapy provides substantial pain relief and increased mobility within a few sessions for most patients. After treatment, your doctor may recommend specific exercises designed to help you regain control and strength in muscles that stabilize your trunk.
If you are experiencing neck, back or radiating pain, you should seriously consider seeking our help with the DTS® as a treatment method.
By
consulting our office you will be taking the first step toward feeling
better. In many cases we offer solutions to people in pain and foster
a lifestyle of wellness.
